Cerbera > Griff?

Toying with changing the cerb to a griff 500, has anyone gone this route? Good/bad points?
Still love that RV8 noise!

My dad went from a 4.5 Cerb to a 5.0 Griff LE in October. He gave it back to Fernhurst today in PX for a Tuscan. To be truethful it never had the same "Waw" factor as the Cerb did and was alot slower, Im not saying it was a slow car (Because we still Trouncer a Boxter S on the M27) but it didn't have the same face distorting impact as the Cerb. The Griff engine sound is Gorgeous in it's defence and I think he will miss that.

And another called Griffmeister. Search the members list and email him - he's the new Club RO for Middlesex. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk about his experiences.

I've got a Cerb 4.5LW and a Griff 500 at the moment. The Cerb is more "extreme" and gets me noticed. It's also mega fast, quicker than the Griff. The Griff is more "relaxed" but still very fast, quicker than most other cars on the road. And the roof comes off, which even at this time of year is fun! If I only had to have one, I don't know which I'd choose.

However, if you do go to the Griff you won't be dissapointed and around the CIs it might even be a better car...

No, he got a Rosso Corsa one. It's quite a strange colour, It's Light Red and then looks Illuminus Red in the light, Bit like a glow in the dark Postbox

I went from Griff to Cerb & have never regretted it. Two different cars, which do different 'jobs'. I would stick with the Cerb.

Keith - don't you really miss the roofless element when the sun is shining though?

It is a constant thought nagging at the back of my brain whether to get a Cerb cos they look awsome... but the Griff is also gorgeous, and convertible... I find it quite odd that a Cerb would get more attention than a bright red, soft top Griff

Mind you... if I did get a Cerb I'd probably go for the really leary pink or yellow, so no worries about creating a stir there then

Alisdair, When you open those huge windows on the Cerb, it gets just as much fresh air, without stuff lifting off the parcel shelf when slipping along at a rate of knots. With the 'fixed head' as well, the car feels more stable at those same speeds.
I must admit that you don't get to wave gaily at all those folks that say 'nice car mister', because they are speachless when you roll by in 'stealth mode'
