Hatfield Peverel volunteer-operated camera request refused . At least that gives us a fighting chance of not being victimised. Not that we go mad in the village anyway..

Any news on the new route Podie?

Well done the BiB...do these people have nothing better to do...as someone said are they all s...hey I don't think so...common sense has prevailed!!

As for Mid-Essex....we go through the villages within the speed limit...whether we go through quietly is another matter hey whats the betting they ask for a decibel monitor next

Tuesday morning I was waiting at the bus stop at the same time as "mother and kid". An evo went by (at about 30-40 mph on a two lane road, with clear view) popping and banging and generally making a lot of noise. The kid was very impressed at this sports car (sic). Mum's comment, "ooh, it's going a bit fast though". Over the next 15 minutes approximately 100 other cars went past (including the red Chim that pulled up behind me on the North Circ a while ago) but Mum made no comment at all even when quieter cars went by at 50-60 .
