Is this a broken droplink .....?

Hi guys,
I think this is a droplink from the rear offside of my SP6 Cerb 2003. As you can see from the picture it has snapped!!
Can someone confirm this is a droplink?.
It attaches to the antiroll bar and any idea why it would have snapped and where I would source a replacement from.
I'm not very good with the tools but it looks like something I can tackle myself or am I better leaving it to the proffesionals?

Definitely a snapped droplink. As said already, not a particularly difficult job, but important to get right.
As to why it happened: have you crashed over any potholes recently? Even one on the OTHER side could put a sudden twist through the anti roll bar and snap the opposite link, if it's been weakened before.

Hi I have ordered the drop links from Steve Heath as advised the uprated ones.
And I'm going to have a go at fitting it myself. It doesn't look that difficult
So stand by guys....I may be back in touch!!
Hi TVRGIT: I haven;t hit any pot holes in my short ownership but there is a nasty chip on the outer rim of the alloy which sujests it's had a knock at some time. The car has not been driven for a week or two but the last time I was on the motorway I was aware of a knocking from the rear and a very slight sence of unstability from the back, this made me go and look at this area today before I went for a spin, glad I did. So now I can sort it and look forward to a more stable motorway experience.
And I'm going to have a go at fitting it myself. It doesn't look that difficult

More likely the rose joint has seized the part at the top of picture these need to be greased regulary.
It's a DIY job replace as pair std parts are as good IMO.
Use copperslip on the rubbers and don't overtighten the nuts a hour job if you have the spanners and jack etc.

I have the car up on jacks at the moment (rear alloys of getting powder coated) and invested in a nice shinny socket set and spanners, I have some copper slip also so as soon as my SH ones arrive I'll give it a go!!

My confidence is sapping with each passing minute!! I'm turning into a shaking quivering wreck I feel like I have the TVR spanner YIPPS.
Tommorrow I'll be staring at the bolts with spanner in hand but a few hours down the line I'll still be holding the damn thing. Shaking, bolts untouched and wondering if I'm about to destroy the car ive dreamed of for years...
