Griffs back,faster & with 18"Spiders
Discussion
Total RESPECT must be given to Richard Smith and his team at Peninsula for engineering something that said could not be done. Many of you may remember that several months ago i pondered selling my griff in favour of buying a Tuscan S.. Many Griff pilots convinced me to keep and upgrade the 500 power plant.I met with Richard and agreed an engine performance package, some of which was trialling new engineering. When i told him i wanted 18" spiders fitted he said "no problem,i'll engineer the parts and work out the system" The end result is trully AWESOME.Apart from the 18"spiders being engineered and fitted,my engine has been fitted with ACT Twin plenums and carbon fibre hose,Tornado chip,404 cam kit, Magnecor ignition leads, coil, distributor cap/rotor arm and ceramic coated manifolds through to the SS exhaust system. It's just blown me away. The power difference is unbelievable and the handling is much better than previous. Im sorry im not technically minded and im sure a lot of you will want to ask me mechanical/technical questions, they are best directed to Richard himself at Peninsula 01395233232..All i can say is that its one of the best decisions i have ever made and 150 miles later my grin is still there.Check out the pic on my profile, now trying to find someone to show me how to post it on here. Thanks Peninsula.zzHad the pleasure of seeing the car at the weekend at the Devon & Cornwall meet in Newquay, and I have to say it looks and sounds fantastic....
After all the grief you've given me do you know how hard it is to say nice things about your car

ZZ car looks lovely, got it on my desktop as its a similar colour as mine !!!!!
Also obviously a good taste in music, judging by the name, keep telling my partner "she dont love me she loves my automobile"
Is she a "girl in a t-shirt" if so just tell her "Gimme all your lovin", if she is unwilling then "give it up" and tell her your "goin' down to Mexico" in your "Chevrolet" wearing your "cheap sunglasses" to find a "groovy little hippy pad" to start a "back door love affair" with a "bad girl". She will be "delirious" and ask you to do your "bedroom thang" involving her "Avalon highway", you could finish off with a "Bar-B-Q" with your "Beer drinkers & hell raisers" mates.
I'll get me coat!

Tuffer, what can one say other than
RESPECT
..zz"rough boy" who "cant stop rocking" and utterly "delirious". >> Edited by zz top on Sunday 25th January 15:42
Because he would rather go straight for the "backdoor medley" than the "Bang Bang", if that goes wrong he could try the "Beatbox". If all else fails mate loosen your "Belt Buckle" and give her some "brown sugar" (but make sure you "cover your rig" you "dirty dog"as you don't want the "deadmonboogaloo").

Hi Simon. Got your e mail today and will respond tomorrow when i pick the paperwork up from the office. I had brake and suspension upgrades last year so Richard only had to reset the adjustable shocks. Those drilled discs look quite small with 18's on but they work great..zzGassing Station | General TVR Stuff & Gossip | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

zz top very nice, a good job very well done.I think the 18" look better than the 16" not so much tyre to the eye away from the alloy's and they fill the arches beautifully.Look forward to you posting some very quick times at the next sprint day with your engine upgrades too.
