Trickle charger
Discussion
Hi guys,
My battery was dead as trying to start it after a few weeks of non use, if i plug the trickle in will that help charge it fully???
Also if someone can send me a personal message on how to get into the boot of a Chimaera without the release that would be great.
Thanks for all your help.

the trickle charger will charge it fully, but will take quite a while longer than a normal charger.never like the idea of bump starting a car with cats myself, though many do.normal chargers can be bought v.cheap(mine cost £8) from argos and the likes,so id be looking here if you want it charged sooner rather than later.or of course, buy some jump leads and find another car.

If your battery was really dead then driving around for an hour will not have put enough charge back into it to start it again
(well it didn't with mine anyway) I had a few battery issues towards the end of last year, a quick search should find them, I ended up buying a AccuMate (£40 from my local battery specialist) and this worked for a while but I still had a few problems, I then took the battery off the car and charged it via the accumate in the corner of the garage, popped it back in the car and it's been fine ever since, and plugged in after each trip

Thanks guys.
Hopefully the car will start again, at least the boot opens now and i can open the doors.
If I leave the alarm on with the trickle plugged in will the battery charge???
If the alarm is 'armed', the trickle charger will charge the battery. I suggest you get one, and keep it connected when the car is not in use.
Try Leven £45. Accumate..same as Raceboys.
