Having just bought the 200th Edition of Top Gear, I really wish I hadn't. It's put me in a rather foul mood, and here is why:
Top 20 WORST Cars they have driven:
Number 7 - TVR Cerbera.
Now, as a kid, Top Gear were one of TVR's biggest allies, plastering pictures of the Tuscan and Cerbera Speed 12 all over the 81st issue, for example. They are part of the reason I love TVRs! And now the vile, two faced, backstabbing
s at Top Gear Magazine have put possibly TVR's greatest homegrown masterpiece in the worst cars they're ever driven/owned/come across in general?!
No wonder our British car industry is going to st when we've got wkers like this writing drivel about our cars. I swear, if the editor who allowed this blasphemy to be printed were standing infront of me I'd lamp him. Repeatedly. Until he stopped moving. Then I'd run over his head.....in a TVR. Just to be sure. tt.
After this, and the TV Episode where they butchered a Chim (mock up or not), I think it's time we boycotted Top Gear in general.

If your refering to the top gear mag, it has bugger all to do with clarkson and co.
From memory the loved the sag and the cerb when that was up against all manor of super cars with a big chesire cat plastered on his face and also in the Tif days the chim 500 went against the Z3 and again he/top gear loved it.
I admit it not as good as it was, but there is fk all else to watch and do on a cold winter sunday night.

Don't get me wrong I love the show watch it every Sunday and on dave but u can't take anything they say seriously.
It's an entertainment programme and they are funny.

EVO magazine is where the true spirit of PH lies. I've subscribed for years - it takes off where the old Performance Car used to rein (after all, it does have a load of their old journo's)
Top Gear Mag is for spotty adolescents. I can't take it seriously.
Top Gear TV show is light entertainment, based around cars as a theme. Again, can't be taken seriously. Just watched the episode from latest series where they proposed Lancia as the mf who made the most great cars - then they drove round in an old Lancia whilst the doors, wings, bonnet etc fell off..... now that is not done as a review of Lancia, it's done as a p*ss take. As with the replica kit car of the Lancia Stratos - which Clarkson was hugely unkind about (I'd agree with Clarkson and Hammond - Stratos surely one of the most striking looking cars - I has a sticker of one on my bedroom window when I was a kid). I'd imagine that if it was TVR, they'd have done pretty much the same. And I'd also imagine that some PH contributors would have gone purple and had a heart attack whilst shouting at the TV screen, blobs of spittle flying from their mouths......
Take it for what it is - and don't take yourself or TVRs so seriously
All my personal opinion of course, everyone is entitled to one
This is why we British fight so hard for "free speach" - even if we don't agree with the opinions of those who exercise their right!!

100% agree with that old chap all three of them are Professional Prats who just don't understand the first thing about design and engineering know how that goes into the manufacture of a TVR or indeed any other motor vehicle or whatever.Top 20 WORST Cars they have driven:

What they need to do is to go back the begining and start all over again and get someone to blow into their ears and see if by doing so it may rattle the little pea inside.I think its too late to repair the damage now, they will always be Pea Brained.
