Could not sleep a wink last night, which is so rare that i can't remember the last time I had a sleepless night (exc. small daughter that is)... in the end I had to get up at 3.30am for a mind numbing hour watching 'Wheeler Dealers'... anyhow, the reason for this insomnia?

Just as we are laid in bed, sort of dozing but having half sort of conversations, Vicki goes and says..."I really don't want you to take the car down to Spain again this year... ... ... (wait for it!) ... but I don't mind you doing EuroHoon.

Woooo Hooooo

and how the hell is anyone supposed to sleep with that prospect whizzing round the mind I ask you?... bring on the booking form

[s]edited to say: if I can get the damn form to print that is![/s]

Rob - basically she said... "it costs a fortune, you get out of about 6 days helping look after Gabby, and when you get down there you spend all the time cleaning it and complaining you can't go out for a drive... instead of helping me with Gabby!"

fair point I suppose

Hmm... All wives seem to think along those lines, I suggested driving the S down to southern Spain as a support vehicle to carry nappies, milk etc. But she seemed to think it wasn't fair and didn't make sense

You lucky Git, GF has to use her holiday wisely and as we just had 12 days in Canada she hasnt got enough left as she saves some days to visit Her Family(France).

Sounds ripe for a bit of... "well if I do the family thing with you, can I go on a loony lads razz round the rest of Europe"

Just think of those Alpine passes, the sound of the V8 echoing off the mountains, oh, then there's the autobahns... er, persuaded yet?
