Im not sure what does what.
But controls are required for allsorts of gizmos such as brake line locks, transmission locks, parachute control, fire extinguisher system etc etc.

If you have ever seen footage of John Force in action you will understand how important it is that all these controls and especially releasing the harness and getting out of the escape hatch must be second nature. I will look for a typical clip tonight....

Large lever on left of cockpit (right as the vid shows) is fuel. He moves it around a lot when starting up. Once things are running ok then can ease off.

Large lever on right (left in vid) is parachutes.

They are generally considered the 2 most important things, not at the start of the run, but most definitely at the end due for safety reasons. If things go bad then I would certainly want to shut off the fuel supply and deploy my braking system asap.

Pretty spectacular footage though. Never realised that trying to keep something pointed straight could be so much of a challenge. Big respect.
