At the mid Essex meet today, I noticed one of the Griffs (on the gravel side, dark blue, tan interior) had around the gear lever a metal surround around the edge of the gear level cut out on the centre consol. Anyone own that Griff - if so, where did you get the metal surround please ?

Pretty sure it's the Leven Griff...

Give them a call... think it's one of their new product lines.

Nope, can't see it in the brochure or on the site. Must be super new.

It sounds like the leven one. I spoke to them earlier this year having seen it at Bruntingthorpe. The problem with going into production is, I think that the hole is cut by hand in the factory, so a standard item may not fit every vehicle.

I've been following up with Simon on this since he first showed me a sample about a year ago. Volume production is the problem so I believe they are now going to be laser profiled. They won't be available untill they are guaranteed perfect.

And I want one now!

The Griffith in question was our Demo car.

We used it to test products hence it often has new items in it. (The customer can only have it when we have fully tested it and are 100% happy with the result)

The gear lever surround should be going into production soon as we have done most of the design & testing. (There will be a version for the Chimeara)

For more info please call us direct. Tel: 01268 281611
