Haveing recently experienced work from 2 independent TVR specialists I thought I would post how happy I have been with the service and professionalism.
My first experience was with XWorks, to get my diff refurbished (following a long an unsucessful expensinve experience with a different garage). Their service was great had the diff out rebuilt and back in within a week a process that had taken another garage months, not to mention that when reinstalled it behaved as it should. I also used them for a full service when they wanted the car back to change the diff oil.
My second experience is of RaceProved in Sheffield. Since I an in Sheffield organising the car to go over to Xworks can become tricky, so I took advantage of the RP Protech shock offer as my OEM shock were past their best. I cannot fault their proffesional and helpful service. Whilst doing the shocks they also did a few other jobs. I had sugestested that some of the other suspension bushes may need changing. Many garages would take this to be a golden opportunity to relieve me of some more money. However they gave the bushes a good inspection and diagnosed a knock to a ball joint and only did the work that was necesary.
I can honestly recommend either of these garages to anyone who is wondering where to take their P&J.
