just coming home tonight, big crash on a40 at polish war memorial, loads of police. didnt see because i was driving, but aparently it involved a bike, renault, tvr and a few other cars. friend said it was a tuscan or cerb looked nasty though. hope everyone is ok. makes me wonder about tvr's but if youre careful i guess its ok. how can you not exploit some of the performance though?

The Polish War Memorial is 50 or 70, however I think it is the 50 limit.

Managed to get through there today in my TVR without any issues..... What time did it happen ??

I work in Greenford and have to face this piece of road every day .... nightmare.

Normally there is the Friday Night Lemming's club who throws their cars at the scenery without any real justification.

It is a very tempting part of the road to 'use' your car, but it is a nasty piece of road.

Let's hope they are all alright and that I can get my 50+ lorries full of beer down the road in the morning !

Lots of people say that this is a dangerous piece of road etc etc but in reality its a dualcarriageway with a 70mph speed limit and no tight bends. In the main, its straight and i would say from experience that its only nasty because its full of w***ers that simply cant drive.

I can say that on this piece of road, SPEED is the major problem without a shadow of a doubt.

Edited to say that i hope that everyone involved in this escaped unhurt or is not seriously injured.

As everyone knows, i dont like Cameras but if ever there was a candidate for a camera every 2 metres then the A40 is it.

Its a National speed limit (70mph) and there are no cameras nearby...the next one going West is at Swakeleys.
