Discussion
Dear fellow TVR drivers.
Follow the link to see why I feel safer driving my TVR than my company car.

In an ideal world - or at least my stupid idea of "ideal world" - everyone on the Queen's Highway would be trained to understand the relatively simple physics involved in driving a car. Such that the simplicity of TVR's build and design philosophy could be the norm, not the exception!
The safety value of a car you can actually hear coming is also undervalued

I agree TVRs are safe, simply because others notice them. When I'm in my TVR as people see and hear me coming. They automatically think I'm going too fast and don't pull out in front of me. Try the same route in my Panda and I might was well be invisible.
Of course this doesn't solve the problem of the numpty that drives into the back of you because they are not paying any attention.

Funnily enough, my experience of a black Griff as a daily driver was that I was the most invisible I have ever been. Incredible number of people just pulled out around town. This was slightly balanced by a good number of times when I strayed into the BMW lane on a M'way and the waves would quite often part.beano500 said:

Ooops - I could be helping to ruin a perfectly good thread. Again.
Perhaps I should strike a black Cerbera off the potential colour list!
