Hi everyone,
Just done a search on the Griffith / Chimaera book by Steve Heath. WHSmith appear to stock it for £33.00.

I'll move this over to TVR gossip and Stuff.

The Griff boy's don't often come in here they feel out numbered!

My pleasure, seen you around the last couple of days, welcome to the asylum.

Why not put a thread up in this forum and introduce yourself.

We don't bite,

What car / colour you got.

If you got a pic of it, I'll help you get it posted on your profile, that'll make you feel at home.

I appreciate the comment but some clarification is needed.
W H Smith do not stock it. It is in their stock list along with all the other books that are published but they refuse to hold stock on it. They occassionally have one or two from cancelled orders from people who got fed up with waiting but trust me they don't keep them. Neither do Amazon either.

What they do is take orders, wait until they get a certain minimum quantity and then place the order on the Car Club which is the only place to get them..... apart from ebay but you don't want to try that

The long and the short is that you can wait a long time for your book.

The quickest and easiest way to get it is from the www.tvrcc.com.

We don't bite,
There is a software upgrade pending for the site to rectify this omission.

I ordered an S series bible online from WHSmith last year, it was delivered in 4-5 days. Perhaps i was lucky, but I though it was excellent value for what i paid.

shpub is right (not that I doubted him!). I popped into W H Smith today and they do not keep a copy of 'the bible' in stock. In fact, the 'motoring' section had absolutely nothing except books on 'how to pass your driving test/theory' etc etc...dozens of them!!

I'm glad someone brought this up, and it is worth repeating so forgive me. WH Smith definitely don't stock this book whatever their poxy website says, nor can they order from the publisher, nor will they even bother to try (although they might well take the money off your credit card). They will make you wait five weeks, ignore your emails then finally tell you 'it is your perogative if you want to cancel your order, sir.'

As stated above it is available very quickly with minimal fuss through TVRCC, Steve etc.

And it is worth every penny if I may say so.

I've wanted to tell the world how bad Smiths are since last September, thanks for the opportunity, hope I haven't trodden on any toes.
