Hi there guys I’m just wondering if anybody knows the location of the SWORDFISH Tuscan. I know they used a few in the film so I’m talking about the one with the bullet holes up the side that TVR created for them. I took a tour around 2003 round the factory the latest car was a Tamora so around that time and had the receptionist walk us around the whole factory. We then got to one car that was just in the corner under a blanket and when she pulled the cover off it was the SWORDFISH Tuscan with the bullets in the side. She then went on to explain that they were surprised when the director of the film phoned them to ask them what to do with the car. (TVR thought that they would be keeping the car). So TVR just told them to ship it back. Know I’m sure she said it wasn’t registered for the road or something so no one could have it as a car at the time or it was to do with the rights of the film.

With TVR currently on the quiet and reports of various stock being moved abroad I’m just wondering where it is?

I remember seeing it at the factory at Back Home 2002, I think it's owned by someone in Europe now.

The bullet holes were filled in and the car was re-sprayed silver and used in Looney Tunes Back in Action.

I worked for TVR for 12 years and was involved when TVR had to vacate the factory. During the clear out I noticed the small bonett. With permission from management I was allowed to take the bullet hole bonett home and it remains in my loft! A little treasure showing history of TVR. I loved my time at TVR, great work pals and memories never to be forgotten.

Hello there!
We emailed each other back towards the end of last year re Neil Garner's Open Day in the Cotswolds on Easter Saturday. Just wondering if you are still up for coming. As we would welcome you and your car there. I have updated all info as of yesterday and placed them on both postings in the TVR events forum for all to see.
Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully you will say 'yes' to coming!
King regards
Paul

Paul,

Thanks for the mail about this too.

I'll put pressure on RG to finish it before Easter. If not, as I said, I'll trailer the car over for a static display wink
