How many speed 12`s are road legal ?

the one in the pics are the same car, they made it look like the race cars by pinching bodywork bits off them. IMO it looks like st with all the holes all over it.

Also, thats a Cerbera Speed 12. The Speed 12 is a different car and there's none of them that are road legal or even still running I think.

I remember taking this picture. Was at Donington and it was just parked next to the race lorry. It hadn't been seen anywhere prior to that. I was quite excited when I saw it.

It has tons of parts from TVR themselves. So I think it will be pretty much 'original' except for the engine which I assume will be jag, bmw or merc V12.

SP12, TVR's own V12 engine. Will reading Sprint again put one of these engines in the car under construction? Whilst it would be nice to see a reproduction SP12 I can't ever see it happening.

Seen a few PH post headlins that suggest X Y or Z is being "rebuilt or restored" when what is actually being produced is a not very faithful replica.

I think that whilst most would agree that an interesting car is being built, the purists will never think of it as a SP12 without it's fundamental, name giving part - the TVR V12.

That's freaky, I was there too, it was April 28th 2000, I know that because it was my birthday and we were running a Jedi on a test day. The Jedi was powered by a CBR 600 m'cycle lump, and was out on track with an Ex-Jordan F1 piloted by an Irish girl, if memory serves correctly. Talk about extremes!

I didn't know anything about TVRs back then, but I did know that I loved the Cerbera Speed 12 instantly, and I still do. It's just a shame that it ended up looking, as it does, in the first photo.

My bad I thought I'd read either in the article or on here that he'd been offered a complete SP12 engine that needed rebuilding??
