Driving tuition

Morning.
Rather than become a statistic and end up planting my lovely new Tam into some armco I'm thinking about some form of advanced driving tuition.
Sure I can drive ok very well in fact in a 4WD, but by no means am I as good as I'd like to be given the Tams lack of driver aids and raw power through the rear wheels - not yet scared myself but it's been too wet to take her out!
Can anyone suggest anything worthwhile?

for Ride DriveRide Drive are very good.
I've done 2 days, one partly at Dunsfold for braking and steering control and other with an hour on Goodwood's skid pan but you do use their clapped out old Sierra on there.
I have become a much smoother and quicker (within safety and speed limits of course
) driver, particularly cornering.

Just need to decide whether to wait for nicer weather as that's the only time she comes out.
Looking forward to it...and yes I fear I'll be getting a fair bit of criticism for dropping her down at junctions....pop, bang, crackle

I think I'll be partaking in a little of this too.
My Chim is the first RWD drive car I've owned and in the last month on two occasions when it's been cold and slightly damp it's wheelspun unexpectedly coming out of the end of our road. Fortunately it's been very early in the morning on both occasions but if I was pulling into traffic I might not have been so lucky.

i also spoke to Julian (nice helpful chap) - sounds like the course he recommends to most performance car drivers is "The Advanced Road Driving & Handling Experience (SO3PM)".
He rekons some people make this an annual event and they can keep teaching your more and more as your skill level progresses (no surprises that you're not gonna become Schumacher after 8 hours!)
In a funny way, i'd be quite keen to do mine in the wet, as that's where i'm least-confident when driving (although i can see myself doing more than 1 of these courses over time with various weathers).
