battery question

I had a bump in my tuscan all the way back on 11.11.09

it is after much heartach being repaired

not expecting it back until end march

my question is after 5 months non use what state is the battery likley to be in. it was about 1y old prior to the accident.

Dead probably. Damage is caused if the battery is left at low voltage for a period of time. The plates will start to sulphate and the battery will lose capacity. If you have a charger that will pulse the battery then it may recover it but I'd budget for a new one.
