HI all,

Answering how many tvr 390se cars out there thread,
Here is a car that's being hiding on us all.
I have just bought a tvr 390se here in Ireland last week.
Its a 1989 irish car from new.
The chassis and outriggers are virtually new,
showing very slight paint peel-thumb size, in about 3 areas.
Totally down to no salt being used on irish roads until recently.
Two previous owners,
Was originally blue but sprayed canary yellow with black hood.blue tinted glass.
It has the flared rear arches and underbody spoiler.
Just getting it serviced,new oils,filters,etc.
I had a 280s up to 2 years ago so familiar with tvr glitches.
Just need advice on parts suppliers new or secondhand.
Will send in photos shortly.
This is what I need please.
1/ Carpet/floor,centre console,and back shelf.
2/ both Hinges for boot.
3/ Rubber for both windows external.
4/ glove shelf have hinges but need internal hinge.
5/ Probably need to get seat belts renewed/please advise.
6/ 4 new tyres have 1000 miles on them but are now showing bad cracks,
what should I replace with.
7/ Pair of round rubber protectors for underside of bonnet.
8/ Car was running rich on fuel before being stored/got new injectors and a fuel regulator in the sale.not fitted yet.
will this solve the problem.
9/The bonnet is not lined up properly,larger gap on one side is constant.
The fixing bolts are not tightened in fully on both sides.
don't want to tighten home fully as I think there should be spacers inserted each side,also these bolts may be too long what length should they be.
10/The coil is reading normal charge on entry and high on exit to distributor cap,engine turns over but wont start.guzzles fuel.
All above technical queries may be wrong as I only got a quick brief from my mechanic today.
Delighted to be in tvr ownership again and hope be on the road for next summer.
Would love it to be sooner but in this great country of ours my road tax will equate to 2000 euro per year give or take.
Yes you read correctly about 1700 gb pounds ouch.
6 years time its 56 euro per year but lets not wish our lives away.
All help on above problems and a ball park price on items if possible plus suppliers is much appreciated.
