Hi
I remember reading that such accessories are availble to reduce upward pressures on the bonnet when motoring at speed, but I'll be
if I can find one.
Clues gratefully received

The spoiler goes under the front of the car not on top of the radiator. of you look under the car just forward of the radiator you will probably see a row of holes where the screws were ripped out. I picked up one of the last genuine ones a few years back, which made from aluminium, but never fitted, I've now made one from plastic that I'll be refitting shortly. Cost to make is a few quid, so being plastic once it breaks I'll make another and replace. Spoiler is about 3 foot ling, by 3 inches you then need to put an angle in the spoiler of 135 degrees along the length approx 1 inch, on one side and 2 inches the other. Attach the the car by drilling a series of holes along the 1 inch wide section, and attach so the spoiler points forward , ie against the what you woul d naturally expect to be aerodynamically correct.I remember reading that such accessories are availble to reduce upward pressures on the bonnet when motoring at speed, but I'll be

I just changed from the GRP cowlings to the older style top and bottom plates which i fabricated from stainless reason for not using the GRP ones, they cut in to the old radiator and caused it to leak hence i had it out in the pic bellow to fit some foam strips to stop it cutting in again after repairing it. I did not want this to happen on my new alloy one plus the stainless looks much better.
As Mr spend said just pack it with some foam to let max air flow to the rad its self.
