This morning 4 Mid-Essex TVR's (3 Tuscan S & 1 T350) chauffeured a Groom, Best Man and 2 ushers to the Church 'on time'!

The Groom was 'Ed' a friend of Podie's who is a big fan of TVR's.

See pictures of the event this morning;

http://community.webshots.com/user/alfessexuk

The Grooms wedding party will be kindly donating to the George Mitchell appeal fund (details of which in Feb Sprint) for our time this morning.

Best of luck Ed for the future.

Alan.

Tuscan S - Alf Essex (me)
Tuscan S - ehasler (Ed)
Tuscan S - Mike
T350 - valhalla (Dave)

Podie - well planned...at least this time you didn't lose the way

Ha ha very funny Paddy. That wasn't funny at the time (doing donuts on a roundabout that is), but I can take a joke and I did find your comment amusing...

Wow would you really do that for me Dave? Thanks very much for the offer, I hope that I will be able to take you up on that soon... However there maybe 2 probs with this: 1 - The wedding prob won't be until either 2006 or 2007 and 2 - It may well end up being in either Portsmouth or Devon! Would any of you still be prepared to travel all that way just for me?

Mmm... I pity my spouse-to-be when I find her (as do the rest of you no doubt). I seem to have the venue, the organist, the bells and the transport worked out already .

On behalf of Ed and Claire, I have been asked to post up a BIG thank you to Alf, Valhalla, Ed and Mike... oh and of course Yellow Peril for helping to arrange things!

Ed travelled in Alf's Cascade Copper Tuscan S, Logan (the best man) in Valhalla's T350 and Ed's brothers (ushers) in a pair of Black Tuscan S's owned by Ed and Mike. Oh, and I was driving the Range and transporting family around, as well as the Bride!

Anyway, all the lads were really chuffed, and thanks for sending off Ed in true style - it was a great start to a fantastic day!

Ed has told me that he will be in touch in the near future (when he and Claire get back from their honeymoon in Cuba) and hopes to be at the next Mid-Essex meet to say thank you personally.
