either way, has anyone got or know where I can get some decent images of this colour? have searched but the search engine at my end just gets stuck and google throws up nothing definitive, anyone help?

thx YKB, thats sooome variatio, is the last tuscan pic a pearl version though

they are all so different, looking at a car at the w/e but images (even the high res ones forwarded to me) are not very clear, was hoping to get a better idea and nnow I am more confused than ever

My car is Halcyon Atlantis Pearl (pic in my profile) so the two name variations you have will be the same colour. It is quite possible however for the same colour to actually be different it all depends on the formula that was used to mix the paint.

My car is prodominantly blue but with strong green overtones in shadow or low light however there is a Cerbera in our region that is also HAP and most definately has more green.

If you're trying to match a colour and you have the last four digits of the chassis number (The build number) it would be worth speaking to S&D in Blackpool as they may have the build records for the car and they contain the paint formulation that was used when the car was built.

I think it's all the same colour, just different quantities of tint.

Try mailing Malcolm (potato muncher) from S&D, I'm sure he'll know.

Great to see a couple of photos of my cerb with my old plate on!
Took it out today after a few weeks was enjoying it... until my exhaust dropped off! some things never change!!!

as long as you use the paint code then the colour match is very good. this cerbera was painted front and rear due to some stone chips and a couple of chips. halycon blue has to be seen in the flesh, especially in a petrol garage at night!

thanks to everyone who replied, was quite unsure from the images on here TBO, even when I picked it up I was a little unsure but having lived with it and seen it under artificial light and varying lighting conditions today..... I think its a fantastic colour

Just need a front end re-spray now so the fun begins!

So far....new clutch fitted, bought some Protech shocks from Kevin on the way back down from newcastle (great bloke, shocks look VG Quality), got new walnut to recover the dash, from Watford....

good to be back looking forward to tinckering

will get some images up when I have finished the 2000 mile journey home.....

It going great Al, Got the starter replaced (I knew when i bought it, I heard it when you went to start it), a New battery cos the cold weather killed the old one, a small diff leak fixed (just a seal) and the throttle cable needed changing. I took it to a ex-factory guy called Dave Bradley at a place called GreenStar in Blackpool (who were great), he gave the car a clean bill of health and it flew straight through another MOT. Really I'm made up and to think it nearly scared me off.
