I thought they stopped using external door hinges after the 1959 mini!!I could build a very very nice fast M for £42,000 and still have about £10k left
It looks more butchered M then Tuscan widebody
Looks interesting. Not liking the stud work around the rear glass much but I would be proud to own one of these, especially as it's British. Tivvers are rapidly running out of British made options.
Looks a bit like a Marcos to me.
Anyone attend the unveiling of their race car on the 12th?

The car will be imo and dare i say it better than the origonal and will be very good and well worth the money
it is being built by a good friend of mine who i have known for a number of years now due to my best mate working for him as a race mechanic and they were comissioned to build a race car for a customer (the one in the pictures) so they decided to have a go at doing a road going version and with the imput of a very talented guy who worked for tvr in the 70s and 80s in developement have turned out a blinder of a race car and i hope the road car will be as goood if not better
and i am pleased to have been able to see it go from a idea and a photo shoped picture in there workshop to seeing the completed car sat on a show stand and in the motoring press and i hope it dose very well in the race sesson this year and i wish them all the best and as a road car hope they sell very well

Very few folk would ever know the original ever existed so to compare it is difficult. However having seen more than one original and having been at Race Retro, and therefore having seen the quality of the race car, I have to say that IMHO, it has a very long way to go before it's considered as a worthy successor.

I understand the car on show was a race car but these days race cars (especialy those with 6 figure price tags) should not be as tatty and unfinished as that one was, again, especially iif its showcasing a product.
Rolling chassis may be wonderful, top coat was tat.
I like it (subject to the finish being good), with one exception. From the photos I'm not sure I like the front bumper area. There are some very modern styling cues in the shapes of the intakes which clash with the retro look of the whole of the rest of the car. They look out of place.
