I thought I'd enlist your help on this one as a TVR dealer seems incapable of fixing the problem.
They replaced the Rocker gaskets to cure the problem, but £300 later it still leaked so I took it back, they tightened the sump bolts, and the sump plug (which had started to leak after the service).

It is still leaking from what appears to be the front of the bellhousing.

I did tell them when I initially took it in that I thought it might be the Sumpgasket/sealant or the Crankshaft seal.

Any "experts" out there that can help.

Thanks.
Lee.

Very difficult to see but it could be the back of the valley gasket, apparently a common problem on rover V8's. just done mine due to leaking. You might be able to see from underneath if you can get a torch and look up or if not try from the top. Very awkward to see though!!
Another one could be the back of the rocker cover gaskets. You should be able to see this just from the top.
Cheers

I think I'm going to have to get some of those low ramps and have a look myself.

Just had new rocker gaskets so don't think it's those.

Thanks.

ok, here is the list:

Valley gasket
Rocker cover
rear crank oil seal (usualy appears as a puddle in the bell housing)
sump gasket
sump bolts lose
clutch slave cylinder (have you checked its not hydralic fluid?)
