I've just had another junk mail to my webmaster account for the tvrcc-northants club from tvrworld. (well, makes a change to the nob-enlargement ones
)
Being a cynical type, I wondered if any other tvrcc members (particularly those that maintain their regional websites) have recieved such mail.
From what I can tell so far it's another TVR portal and I'm happy to post our club details (contacts etc) on there providing it's that type of site (rather than some soleless site written by advertisers).
thoughts please...

Received an invite also. Undecided on my stance. I think providing a regions details is harmless enough. Whether I'll see any benefit for doing so tho' is debatable.
Steve.
Steve, that was my thought too. If it's an enthusists site then I'm happy to comply and provide our location, contact details etc (which are on the website anyway and hence already in the public domain).
However, I suspect (being a cyncial old fart) that it's probably more focused as an advert portal and the last thing I want is more spam sent to my RO and myself.
Let the PH massed vote.!!
Steve
They are specifically targetting the RO addresses rather than webmaster it would appear, as I've seen nothing (mind you our site isn't finished either...)
I see a dozen of these types of e-mail a week for the various domains I look after offering cheaper hosting, more hits, more thoughput etc. etc.
Their package might be better, but the current one is free on account Paul Calland owning CypherWeb, how do these guys expect to make their profit?
(Not that I'm cynical or dubious!)
