4.0l Chimaera.....anyone know which Ford parts bin TVR stole the front disks from ?? Got a feeling either Capri 2.8 or RS Turbo ???

Are you pre-or post 1994 - I believe 1994 models have front disks and calipers from Sierra Cosworth for the 400 and Escort Cosworth Turbo for the 500 but I think earlier ones may have been different..

As there have been about 10 or so different combinations fitted, take the original with you or measure its dimensions (diameter, offset etc) carefully before buying. Check and double check as all this alternative parts lists mean is that for someone that this part fitted their car. It does not mean that it will fit yours as TVR often changed things.

The same is true with brake pads as well. There was a thread recently where three owners all quoted different numbers and it turned out that a different one was needed.

I have 96 griff,(dont know if similar brake wise) But was informed by raven automotive, that my discs were from an XR4 by 4 (sierra) May be of help?
