had my first topless outing at lunchtime today
roared back into work and left the beast parked with the roof off

Sitting at my desk 15 mins ago and one of my colleagues casually mentions the weather - its raining cue one lunatic legging it outside, running back in for the keys fumbling about trying to get the roof out of the boot - got it fitted and now its stopped raining

Tell me about it.. Managed to get about 2/3rds of the way over the snake a couple of hours ago on my way to a rather nice place I'd got booked for a meal, when I finally gave in and turned back. Took me longer to get home than to that point; noone had thought to grit the road and it was like glass. Wet, icy glass, with extra slippy bits. Several very interesting moments trying to point the car in the right direction.

Still, saved myself the cash I'd have spent on a skid pan course. Got a good refresher for free..
