Ooh, I need a bible for my 1994 Chim. Would your 'old one' be any good?

Don't you just *LOVE* ebay!

I was recently thinking of buying a reasonable spec secondhand lappy and looked on there and a P3 800MHz Dell with their big LCD screen was actually going for about £50 less than it would cost me for a brand new P4 3GHz unit with the same big LCD screen...

...the ebay world is nuts!!!

it's the people that are nuts - theres a second bible currently at £26.00 + £5.00 postage IIRC a new one is only £30.00

The world has gone mad!

You'll see MM...come March 28th through to October 31st, s'there!!

It's not getting the roof off that's the problem, it's removing it from the boot to put it back on. Cue one embarrassing episode when the flippin thing got well and truly stuck and come what may I couldn't get it out, no matter what angle I tried. And it was raining

However, the upside was two young guys in an M3 stopped to assist!

So I take it you won't be parting with your bible unless I give you £500 I think I'd better get round to ordering one in that case!

Thats my book on ebay i jumped on the bandwagon when i saw what they were going for after i sold my chim. Mr Heath has an excellent book and it obviously has quite a following for these people to pay a premium for them.

crazy indeed.

ive also got my oil filler cap on there at a good price too.

Ive sold lots of car parts on Ebay and it is very unpredictable.

Some items that I was bordering on skipping made very good sums with the purchaser being over the moon, other much better parts struggled to sell.

Very useful selling medium though.
