TVR withdrawl symptoms

I get headaches, can`t breathe properly, my stomach is upset, with far too many visits to the smallest room.

I have been away from my Chimarea for 4 months now, traveling the world. It might just be the food/altitude here in Peru, but I still say it is TVR withdrawl.

Know the feeling I have the same symptoms being stuck out in Azerbyjan for three months at a time living with relics of the soviet cold war and lada cars full of oranges. I also think we are put under extra stress due to the fact that TVR's need to be driven regular to prevent problems. On the plus side the car always feels like brand new when you get home, plus people dont get pi***d of with you roaring around every day but appreciate the intermittent show.

i get those symptoms when i am away from it for a week, so i dont know how you guys cope!

Im on day 437 without my Tiv and it doesn't get any easier. Especially as about 380 of those have been the sunniest, driest days i can remember in Scotland or maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me.

Light at the end of the tunnel though it goes for MOT on Friday, fingers crossed.

Feel sorry for you.

I was without the TVR for only three weeks whilst relocating to London.

By the third week I was seriously 'agitated' with the lack of TVR infusion one gets even just walking past it to the tube station.

All ok now.

I was up in the Himalaya's at Chrismas and the New Year and never saw any car's for 3 weeks ... strange..
and yes I missed my TVR a lot.

Still missing it now - as it's in the garage (Austec) having some serious performance tuning... can't wait for its return

You lot have got it easy, I have just clocked up 6 YEARS without a TVR, although I did manage to get to TVR Mania last year, got a ride in the TMS racing Griff, and the Tuscan racer.
Still trying to find a way of getting a wedge into Hungary legally, not at all easy. I thought it would get easier after May 1st (joining EU) but the government here has decided to 'protect' the local used car market (prices here are stupidly high) so if you bring in a used car from another country you have to pay a registration fee of around 35% of the car's value . Prior to this is was a big customs duty, but this is now outlawed by the EU.
