G- force T5

Has any one used one of these?

I am trying to find out up if this box would work in a chimaera with 650 lbs/ft of torque?
as the car weighs 1/3 of the weight they are quoting for

They states that.
" the G-Force Street 5-Speed kit will handle roughly 600 hp or 500 ft-lb. or torque in a 3300 lb. vehicle running drag radials at the track with a moderate clutch upgrade."

or i will need to look at a TKO

I've seen the website before but don't know anyone who uses them.

Myself and others like Steve Heath (Super charged 5.3 wedge 500 bhp plus) use gearbox man (Competetion transmissions)

I see they now seem to be an agent for G-Force as their box is show on their website but the last time I talked with them they were fitting quaife build internals to the T5 box.

Give them a call and tell them what you have and it's use and I'm sure they will give best advice but at that level of power the g/box is likely to become a consumable or have regular rebuilds/overhauls.

How is the twin turbo project going. Have you decided on the turbo type yet ?

Hi Rev
I have already had a chat with Bernie i am looking at all the viable options and trying to get some info together from people who have done different conversions,
the project is coming on nicely, turbo's are twin GT 28 rs's, (disco potatoes)
