Hi all,
I am a new comer, who does not unfortunately have a TVR Griffith so far, but would like to.
I have looked at many sites on the internet but I have not been able to find a critical value for me.
Let me explain. I live in France where such cars are almost unknown, therefore I can't check by myself. My garage has been modified and the entrance is just 2000mm wide, which is something like 78,7 inches.
The griffith data that I have found says that the car overall dimensions included mirrors is 1940 mm (76,4 inches) which is still sharp for my garage since there is a steep ramp in front of the entrance.
Could anyone tell me what is the width of the car with the rearview mirrors stowed?

I haven't measured it but they only fold in slightly (you have to do it by hand) so I doubt you'd gain more than 5-10cm.
If your measurements are correct you should be able to fit in with the mirrors out. Assume the doorway is narrower than the acutal garage or you will struggle to get out of the car once in the garage.

In fact, I have struggled trying to find a photo of the front of the car showing the mirror overhang in order to estimate this value.
I have looked on youtube to big500 film showing his griffith getting out of his garage, mirrors stowed, and it looks as if the mirror when stowed is within the width of the car ( just over the wheels). My estimate of the mirror is that it's approx. 20 cm wide and that stowed you would gain approx. 10/12 cm which yields for both sides a healthy 20/24 cm. But these are only estimates. Hence my post.

Hi Mezzogio, I have just measured my own Griffith in the garage and it measures just under 1900 mm (1890 mm) across the mirrors with them in the proper position for driving. TVR's data is wrong, hope that helps. p.s. My garage door frame is also 2m wide and I have no problems at all getting the car in, indeed I think 2m is a standard size garage door frame.
