Just a quick note to say cheers to Joolz for the service on my Chim today.
Excellent service & a really top bloke. If you haven't used him yet, then I suggest you do.
Whilst you are waiting, you can even walk into Chesterfield & spend more money (and fall on your a*se in the snow).

sad but true , was taking in bookings for May .. getting a bit out of hand so concentrating on existing customers for servicing only to give them the best service i can possibly offer ..
Joospeed is trying to move towards the upgrade / performance / track and race side of the business .. basically 'cso that's what i set the business up for in the first place

Excellent work & a really top bloke. If you haven't consulted him for an upgrade yet, then I suggest you do.

And yes Marc we've both walked it now.

so how does joospeed compare to offords outside cambridge , last time i used them the car was serviced nicley and they came and picked it up and left me a car to use all for the nice price o £225 for a 6k service, me i hate havin my car serviced by anyone but its the only way i get the book stamped up as i like to do everything my self as the cars are pretty basic or should i say normal, even the ecu is a bit long in the tooth.
i still don't know how people do servicing for that sort of price .. there's 80 odd squidlies worth of parts, which doesn't leave much left for 6 hours of labour ... assuming the car is pefect and neds nothing else doing ..
I'm much more expensive (100 pounds more expensive on a 6k at that price) and you only get the use of an ageing beemer 316 if it's actually running at the time.. so no glam courtesy cars either .. at that rate i look piss-poor value don't i!!??
hmm .. wonder why I'm booked up to May then

I'm in the same boat by the sounds of things. Trying to get squeezed in but looking for other options just in case, MOT is up at the same time as the service.

Not that bad for me - I had a service a couple of months ago. I've got to get suspension, wheels, speed sensor and wiper mechanism sort out though!

Wol's in on friday, so I'll have a look at your up-coming cars, ok?
so after all that and back to my question what does this specialist do to your tvr that offords dont do for 100 quid less and they supply a car ( saab 9000) , and carry out the service as laid down by TVR, just trying to find out why a few owners go to one service specialist when another is a bit cheaper, is the service done any better, as i found last time i used offords they did a good service and pointed out things that needed doing which i knew about before hand ..
