Raceproved wanted me to put mine on but I didnt really have the time on Sat. Although with a predicted 420 (with no remap) it might have featured on the leader board....?

hi Gazza, I was going to look out for you at raceproved, but I didn`t get there until 1 `ish, well impressed with the result though, 404.7bhp so only 1% out on the 409 it put down last September.

That was fantastic day that Raceproved put on and with so many people to meet and with some great cars it was one perfect day.
There was also a few one off TVRs there too which might never be seen together again.

Yes, great day out. Was a shame the TVR Power boys didn't show up given all the willy waving though. Would have been good to see some 4.3's and 4.5's directly compared to others on the same rollers.

As it was I was the only one "representing" the TVR Power camp with my standard 4 ltr S. It was still the most powerful Speed 6 on the day though by a good margin (360 "flywheel" bhp. Why wheel figures weren't given I'm not sure as flywheel figures are universally accepted as being inaccurate?), with only well modified AJP's being better which was nice. I'll put my huge willy away now.

Anyway, a very impressive facility overall, some fab cars, great people and decent burgers. Well done to all involved!

Anyone get a picture of the final leaderboard? I've got one after my run but quite a few cars went on after me.

What happened? I wasnt sure if any 4.3 or 4.5s were booked in. Did they cancel? That's a shame. At least this keeps the mystique going and allows shouts of subterfuge to continue ;-)

I was really looking forward to seeing what the strenghtened and capacity increased 4 valve per cyl cars could put out. You kinda expect them to trounce everything else.

My 4.5 RR AJP with standard induction and no remap (but a little bit of headwork) is expected to put out 420 (put out 415ish before the headwork). Although as I think the 4.3s and 4.5s S6s have been optimised on the rollers, mine remapped would be the fairest compare to the Power cars. 440 ish would be a great figure to see the S6s beat (on comparable rollers).

Not sure who owns the red one but I was being nosey to see whether it was originally a Tuscan and it comes up as uninsured on askmid! Might want to check before plod give you a pull!

Only managed a couple of hours in the afternoon but thoroughly enjoyed it, some lovely cars on show and a nice setup. Hope it's the first of many, may even put the old girl on the rollers next time.
