NITRONS

My 2001 Tuscan has just failed it's first MOT due to leaking front and rear dampers.

This seems like the ideal excuse for fitting some nitrons. Do they come as dampers and springs or dampers alone.

I'd like to hear from any owners who have had these fitted, are they much better than the standard?

Also where can I buy them from? They will be fitted at Chris Neils.

Joospeed is the place to get them from, and yes they are much better than the standard ones, once set up to your liking 22 way adjustable damping & I belive now you can get different spring rates your car will be a lot more stable and go round corners so much better.

Peninsula did mine...cracking job.

mines a Griff 500 and needed poly bushes too.

you MAY have them on yours but if not don't forget them.

Have to agree about the bushes, not sure if it is the same scenario for the Tuscan, but I fitted new Superflex bushes from Peninsula to the front end when I fitted new AVO shocks and what a difference!

Peninsula should be able to offer the best deal and Nitrons are a must if you are keeping the car

Peninsula are indeed very very good, but there's no deals to be had on Nitron stuff, it's the same price wherever you go, 850 plus vat. There will be some difference on fitting prices though, but I always say the same thing to everyone who phones me up :

Phone as many places as you can and speak to them about how much they know about their own suspension kits, then spend your money with whoever you are most satisfied and comfortable with .. I think you'll find a few surprises.

Joospeed is the place to go. He does sell more Nitron kits than any other TVR distributor. Joolz will also discuss the settings you're after, and what you want to achieve with the car.

lol . yeah, 7 kits going onto cars this week now

just had to call Guy at nitron and order 3 more kits 'cos i'd run out!!

38 full kits sold so far and a quite a few part kits too, soon there won't be any cars left with TVR suspension
