I know things like this have been covered before- but it's getting a bit silly!

Now, let's not all rush to offer our copies on ebay at the same time- if we can sell one a month we might all make £32 profit!

How long before some mug is buying the used oil from a T350?

This is typical of the numpties that bid on e-bay. I regularly see second hand items (with no warranty) go for sale at a higher cost than new items. Electronics goods sales are commonplace for this.

sometimes thats not strictly true - take the iPod for instance, they are in such short demand and people are so desperate for them they'll pay extra for a *new* second hand one. The same happened with the new BMW Mini - second hand ones were selling for more then the list price...

Then again, some of the things you see sold on ebay and the prices they reach are somewhat strange.

In the old days of scrap yards I always used to check the retail price before going.

As any good procurement specialist will tell you : Research is CASH.

That said I did buy some tarpalin for my allotment for £6 quid off e-bay (To keep the weeds down) and it fell apart after 6 months. and has turned to blue dust.
