Running in in Wales...

I'm picking up a Tuscan S from the factory this week and would like to do the first 1000 miles in Wales.

Any advice on accomodations and pubs?

Also need to know some nice places and roads?

Theres a madman called Chief Inspector Brunstorm (sp??) who is a head honcho in the Welsh Police He doesn't care much about things like theft, muggings etc, instead he likes to target motorists ('cause its easy and he makes money).

Be very careful about speeding in wales, they have speed traps/cameras everywhere and you WILL get busted for just a few mph over the limit !

Go to North Wales (From factory M6->M56->A55) and head for Betwys-Coed, Bala etc. The best roads, the best scenery and not many cops/cameras.

Glad to hear you're picking up the S, We'll have to meet up again sometime soon!!!

Have fun in Wales and take it easy although having a foreign driving licence does have its advantages!!

This place is really good, just outside Brecon

You must go on the A470 between Brecon and Merthr, also the best roads ever are the upper chapel to Brecon road, and best of all look up a place called bethlehem and the A4059 mountain road, perfect tarmac hill climb style....

Plod are everywhere on the A470 between Brecon and Merthyr thanks to our biking friends habit of killing themselves regularly on this stretch.
