Has TVR Ruined me for other cars??

OK, So I love my car.
Since owning it I have been out in a few other cars, all performance cars, all "rather nippy", but they all lack that certain something....
As an example. I went out in a friends M3. Felt like I was sitting in a high chair compared to my low down snug Chimaera. When he put his foot down, yes it was fast, but not blisteringly quick like my baby. Sounded OK, but no V8 burble. Nothing in it felt at all as good as what I have in my TVR..
So, will nothing ever live up to the TVR now?
I hope not, as I know I am NEVER going back

A mate of mine sold his 5L Chim at Christmas (for a variety of reasons which I won`t bore you with) and as part of his new life bought a BMW convertable
He hates it and misses the Chim so much, he is selling his house for a flat and getting either another Chim or possibly a Tuscan
The Chimaera has definately got under my skin

Surely a Chim costs less than a BMW convertible? (Or are we talking an early 1.8 Z3? 
)Know what you mean. Tried an M3 Evo and a Z3M Coupe. Nice enough cars, can feel the quality and build, had a certain feel-good factor too... but it lacked that certain something... I once read in Car that the Z3m Coupe was like driving any other BMW, albeit a fast BMW, which is great if you can only afford a 318 
I've also been out in a F355 round Goodwood... the driver took it all the way to the limiter and got it sideways a few times, but I wasn't that impressed. Wouldn't say no to one though... just didn't appear to be worth 4 times the value.

He had to get a 4 seater 3 series (for his "instant family"

I wouldn't worry as my Tuscan is very loud and I live Southend way. If you are not a TVR Car Club member and want to join the Mid-Essex region and join my and Podie's (little convoy each month)...you just missed Sundays (had 55 cars)...then let me know. Its always on the second Sunday of the month but Mrs//P// (our leader) will surely catch you at some point on here.

I think if you are bitten by the TVR bug then they do ruin you for other cars. You do stupid things like take the window cleaner out for a spin - just because you feel like driving it (yes I have just done this - completely mad but he has just walked up the road with the TVR grin on his face

I have to buy another car to get to my new job (Woohoo!
) as Judas will be taking my baby to work every day 
. However even though loads of sensible advice was offered on here I simply cannot go back to a car that is not as much fun as the Chimaera - so I have decided to buy an old school Mini 
TVR - it's infectious

I agree! IMHO... 1. All other cars lack that certain something.
2. Nothing will ever live up to the TVR.
and most importantly...
3. I am never going back.

If I had a million pounds i would line up a Typhon,a sagsaris,a T350,a Tuscan,a cerbera,a griffith,a chimaera 500,450,400,a tamora,a SEAC,an S series,And a Wedgie,A vixon,and other more obsure makes (Grantura etc....) in my huge drive and garage....
And boy would I be a happy bunny !

I took a Ferrari F360 around Thruxton the other day.. There is a way forward but its going to cost you a lot of money.. In total I drove a MG ZS (2l 6v), Formula Renault, merc SLK and then the F360, none of them compared to the TVR except the 360..
