I'm based in Frankfurt Monday to Friday until the end of March.

Are there any other Tiv owners on here that

a) fancy a beer one evening

b) might bring their car out to play (mine is kaput at the moment and I am having withdrawal symptoms.......)

Even if there isn't anyone in Frankfurt, would people just send me pictures of TVR's to cheer me up. All I see every day are Porsche's particularly the dreaded tartmobile Boxster

I even had to miss the Mid Essex Tiv & Ferrari meeting last sunday

I just want it back on the road..........

N17 - missed you by a couple of months. Spent the better part of the last 2 years at the Boerse.

Did come across a blue Chimp in Sachsenhausen. Got excited, but nobody picked up my "Spotted". Never got the opportunity to take the Cerb out, however, spent most days trying to convert those around me away from Stuttgart standard issues ...

Recall a few out of towners coming in for IAA last year though. You're not alone !

Hi,

I'm in the north of germany, just up a bit from Hannover, i'm sure i'd be up for a "little" drive the weekend after next. If you're up for it, just drop us a line.

Yep, i'm in frankfurt ... permanently! Living in Oberursel and working in Frankfurt city. Tuscan Speed 6 4.0 owner which is suffering from a flat battery at the moment. There is another TVR boy here that i met a few years ago, a local guy called Hansgard or something like that. He appears from time to time on the forums ....

beers always a good idea .....

Cheers,

Stu, looks like you may be sorted. Buy the Tuscan a new battery and away you go!

Will yours be fixed by the weekend? If not, and my leg is OK I'll try to pop over - and give it large outside your windows

If I'm still laid up you can maybe borrow mine for a 'fix' (as long as it isn't wet )

There is a god !

Paul - I will drop you a mail offline and arrange a meet, beers are on me. I remember Hansgerd as we exchanged a couple of posts a few years back, I will mail him as well & see if we can get him out.

Jeff - Unfortunately I am back in the UK at weekends, so unless you are in Frankfurt in business it probably isn't going to happen unfortunately

Lee - who knows what could have been

Rog - I'm hoping it will be back on the road this weekend, but if you are back on your feet, and Del has got his back on the road we can get together, maybe get Grahame & Podie out as well.

We now have my good self, Apsona, Hansgerd & Bodo meeting up for a beer next Wednesday 31st March @ 19:00 (CET)

Rumours that we will each be bringing a steering wheel or the head of a Porsche Boxster driver in order to recognise each other are incorrect.........you don't need a steering wheel !

If there is anyone else who will be in Frankfurt on that day and fancies a beer, please let me know and I will send you the details.
