The G/F is back for one weekend (from uni) so i asked if she'd mind goin to the TVRCC Bristol meet and she said.......
...YES!
but what shocked me the most is she wants me to tell her loads of TVR stuff so she doesn't sound thick at the meet
bless her!
i know Mrs Ted is an active TVR member so is their any partners who are active in TVR membership??

Mrs H for one.. ..she knows quite a thing or two about cars too.. I don't think I'd have married someone without an interest in cars anyway.. afterall what else is there to talk about..
I'm still in the dog-house for selling the Chimaera..
Cheers,
Matt.

My GF was a bit unsure about coming to PistonFest last year, turned out she had a cracking time and is now counting the days till this years. Also wants all her girly mates to come along too!!
Also she'll put her hair up and make it rigid if she thinks there's a possibility of me wanting to take the roof off, so it doesn't get all messed up!! Bless her!
Her favorite Tiv is an old Vixen S3 and has made me promise that when I'm loaded (few years away at the moment!!) I'll buy her one!
She can spot a Tiv a mile away and always reads Sprint when it comes too! She can't even drive yet either!

My wife has no real interest in my cars (which is fine), but she is happy with my passion. Besides this gives me the opportunity to share my interest with good mates.
She realised it was serious on our wedding day 13 years ago, when to leave the church, she had to stuff her voluminous wedding dress into a (hired for the weekend) Testarossa.
Having got the messy bits out of the way, it was up early the next morning to get some
miles in the Rarri before I had to give it back
The one comfort to her is that she knows I'm more likely to be ogling other cars than other women (generally)

Mrs Dodger thinks I'm really sad. Especially when I say I'm just going to the garage to put Miss Chim's nighty on and kiss her goodnight.
Took her to a meet a few years back and we went for a blast in convoy - it frightened the life out of her. She doesn't like noise, roof-down, or convoys.
But she has other qualities -

Rog - I like the flat head in the diagram, ideal for standing your pint on........
Mrs N17TVR is a regular attender of the meets, drives the Tiv on sunny dry days and will be participating in the go-karting in a couple of weeks.
The first time she drove the Tiv, we were poodling along at about 40mph in the inside lane with me covering my face with embarressment (the Tiv never goes in the inside lane), and then some transexual went past in an MX5 and Mrs N17TVR said "Im not having that" and we were off, she pulled up alongside the chick-boy, waved and then pressed the loud pedal and we sped off into the sunset.
However I actively discourage her participation on here as I dont think wimmin should use the internet, it will only give them ideas...........

Stu .... I've forwarded this part to Mrs N17
that ok with you

Im happy to say Mrs. ncs (aka the blonde sat-nav) is a big fan of the car, the fact that she hasn't had to cook a Sunday lunch since I bought the Griff probably has something to do with it!
We get a lot of ladies come to our meets, many in their own cars. I think it would be very boring if it were a 'men only' club.
And besides, who else would navigate?
