Help needed....once bitten, still smitten!

Hi everyone,
I've just joined and need some genuine advice. I have previously owned 3 TVR's, a used chimaera 4.0HC, and very briefly a used Griff 500. They were both great. Then I ordered a new Cerbera 4.5, delivered in '98. A beautiful car, antique starmist turquoise, full leathers, leather to the doors etc. (R813 WOE if you're about somewhere).
In 10000 miles I had 3 speedo's, 4 starter motors, the power steering packed in while in motion, and finally the rear shocks collapsed whilst I was driving and the back end hit the deck. Scared me to death, and I sold it back to the dealer. I'd had enough.
Trouble is I still love 'em. I'm seriously tempted to try a Tuscan S, but the truth is I'm a long way from a dealer, and I don't want to go through all that again. But that means I'm stuck in Boxster land, and that's no fun. Are the reliability problems still such an issue, or is it worth another go. I will be using it every day, but probably only 6000 miles a year. What do you think?

Some say as long as you get a 2003 onwards you'll be OK, others say if it hasn't been back to the factory for a re-build, then it's only a matter of time.
I think the main thing is you've got to warm the engine first, even if it's only short run.
I'm prepared to take the risk, I know the pitfalls.
I intend to use it everyday, however I do have my wife’s car to use if need be.

I've got to say the build quality of my 03 Tuscan S is far better than my previous 3 TVR's - not perfect, but much, much better. I understand the new cars are better still - TVR must be getting their act together (not before time) in the 'final inspection' department, or it could be that the better dealers do a 'proper' PDI.
I use mine as a daily-drive, as well as big-mileage European tours, and am going to be running a 'Motoring Adventures' Company around my
soon-to-arrive T350, so yes, I do have confidence (albeit with fingers-crossed)
It seems that the newer cars that are driven regularly have less problems.
