We went to the Hockenheimring in Germany last weekend for this saisons first race. It was a lot of fun to drive my Chimaera among all other British cars.

Hi Peter,
Nice pics, as well as the other albums on your site BTW. A bit out of the theme, but can you tell me who mounted your roll bar? Is it “tolerated” when you present the car for the technical control in CH (“MOT”) or you had to have it “certified” in some way by the bar manufacturer? I assume it is mounted directly to the chassis. Maybe I could come over as soon as they open the Gothard pass to see it in flash, so we could have a drink and chat a bit together.
Cheers, Ozren

that "new engine" is fitted in a friends car. it is a 5.2l tvr engine from tvr racing with about 360 bhp.
everything on my friends tvr as well as on mine is done by beat eggimann (the guy who owns the mg on the pictures). for more information email me on chimaera@swissonline.ch
it would be nice to meet for a beer in spring!

, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's something rather special in the photo "new engine in Chimaera". Can you provide more details?
