Being a PH poster for a while I notice the TVRs mentioned / reffered to (speed, supercar-status, looks etc.) are Tuscs, Cerbs, Griffs . . . Only at a rare occasion I ran into the Tamora. Why is that? It doesn't lack power, looks or practicality does it. I am interrested in your opinion.

Well, why is that?
Because not many people bought them? I don't think you can really answer that question tactfully (though people do rate Jennifer Lopez). I'd imagine people generally buy the 'new' TVR and the t350c/t came along just after the Tamora with better handling etc. Tamora's are also a tad cramped for us tall people...

I don't fit, or I'd buy one ... and I'm only 6ft 4.5inches ... and I thought Peter Wheeler made cars to fit him - he must have extremely long legs and a short torso.

My 6'4" rugby-playing (ie. big) mate can drive my Tamora quite comfortably with no probs. Not sure what you tall people are doing wrong - sure you had the seat all the way back?
Trust me, I tried, with the dealer in the passenger seat - my head was hitting the roof hoop. They could have lowered the seat a smidge but it would still have been a close call - not good for bumps in the road.
Is there any way of counting how many Tamora owners are on the site without sending out a 'hands-up' thread - Ted?
Less than 100 - surely not? Its been in production since late 2001 I think so roughly 50+ months. 2 per month doesn't sound right.

I was there yesterday. Saw two pretty much finished Tamora's at the business end of the factory. Loads of Tamora bodies in the yard too (though not sure if this is a good or bad sign?). Shame you didn't post this a day earlier dinkel & I'd have done a quick count!
Having driven one for the first time last week, I reckon they could be a real unsung TVR hero. I suspect there are quite a few Tamora owners out there who have a wry smile at some of the negative comments made about them. Seemed like a really nice TVR to live with to me.
Even the styling has grown on me now, although I agree that the price should have been differentiated more from the Tuscan. That probably hurt sales more than the size/styling (I thought it was supposed to be more of any "entry level" TVR?)
Future classic? Hope so. But not yet. Not until I've traded up anyway...!
