Yeah sorry, I used waterproof Glue from DIY store once,It was black which I found strange but done the job OK. Teh rubber slides down a metal grove as well so i think it was only the ends that need glue.

The one that seals against the passenger glass.
if its the one on the roof panel that seals against the top edge of the glass, it slides in to a channel from one end. a small dab of araldite would be suficient to hold it in place to stop it sliding back and forth.... I don't think its supposed to be stuck to the roof itself where it protrudes from the channel, although mine looks like the previous owner tried this at some point. It's not stuck now however, and doesn't (seem to) leak around that area.....

Colin, as TheHobbit say's it runs in a channel. You can in fact pull it right out (oooer mrs.). Replaced the one on my passenger side in about 3 minutes! It’s a lot easier if you take the roof panel off. If you find it is slightly crushed, you can buy a new length from most TVR garages. I know that Fernies stock it. ...and whilst on the subject of windows (and i've had a quick PH Search on this one and failed), when at the top my Chim's windows leave a small triangular gap at the front of the window where it should meet the roof seal.
Obviously the window height adjuster raises and lowers the window, but how do you change the angle of the window so it meets the seal the whole way along the top?

I dont know of any 'adjuster' to alter the angle. It sounds like the window mechanism may have been removed at some point and not put back straight. Perhaps the use of a a washer or two on one of the window mechanism mounting points might sort it out? Havent been delving inside the door for a while, and no bible to hand so I cant remember exatly how its mounted.

I would be interested in that if any answers are given. My drivers window frame is not a great fit where it meets the seal on the 'A' pillar (windsceen pillar). It also flexes outwards slightly above 70mph creating a lot of wind noise and a draft.
Just out of interest, when changing the seals I mentioned earlier - they form the exterior seal where the glass drops into the door - is it just done from above with the window wound down or does the door trim have to come off? I've got the lengths of rubber sat at home and I really must get off my fat @rse and do it this weekend.
