Is anyone else suffering with their Tuscan with the 'too much glue but still not holding' problem on the seal on the top lid of the boot or is it just us?

We have been advised that the seal doesn't really 'seal' anything and just to remove the glue...I'm not totally convinced and after the weather the last couple of weeks I'm a bit worried.

I had to reseal the roof/door seal with a bead of silicone. Could be the same with the boot. It doesn't show when refitted but stopped the dribbling when washing the car with a hose pipe.

Does the lid fit properly? Could be 1/2 the problem if it needs adjusting.

I'm going to get my boot lid readjusted at its 6K Service as it sits slightly proud on the off-side. No issue with leaks but it is noticeable --- to me anyway.

....I did have plans, but if it helps I can always take your spangle for a little spin.....purely to help keep it lubricated of course....tough job, but you are a mate and I don't mind helping out.
