Spring clean and tidy up.....

I've got the Chimp in bits!! and am tidying up the engine bay replacing bushes etc.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to have some aluminium polished?

Also my radiator is leaking and want to try and get it repaired, again any recommendations much appreciated.

And lastly...........

Where can I get hold of good quality stainless hose braiding and flashy anodised ends from without paying a fortune at a car tuning shop??

I am based in Mid Essex and all help is much appreciated. I'm hoping to get her ready in time for the April meet.

Polishing - get some proper polishing soaps and some polishing mops that fit in a drill, do it yourself in a vice. Very easy

Radiator - DO NOT try and use Radweld or the like the water channels inside the V8 can get restricted bythis gunk! The rad is a bespoke TVR item, grab your Yellow Pages and find someone who will recore it, should cost about £100. You could bury an alloy one but look at paying around £300 for the privelidge.

Hoses - Forget braided, get a set of Samco or similar uprated hoses in a colour of your choice. Cost is about £120 a set.
