Replacement of ALL electrics

Ok, here's a question......
Does anyone know how much it would cost (and who could do it) to have ALL the electrics stripped out of a 2000 Chimaera 4.5 and 1998 Griff 5.0?
Both Jo and I have been dogged with trouble for the last 12months and we are getting to the end of our tethers.
The thought of having 2 cars that actually work and can be relied on to make it home again, would fill us with joy.
Any ideas?

Why do you suspect loom problems on both cars? Seems a bit strange both to be affected.Does anyone know how much it would cost (and who could do it) to have ALL the electrics stripped out of a 2000 Chimaera 4.5 and 1998 Griff 5.0?

Thanks for your advice. I will follow them up.
Simon, all of our problems have been electrical of late. I am probably getting a bit carried away but it just seemed like a "once and for all solution". Not knowing much about car electrics, this theory might be very flawed of course.
Just getting a bit desperate as pretty much our total mileage for the year has been up and down to Hexham to get them fixed (that's no reflection on HHC at all, they have been brilliant)

Trouble is the vast majority of electrical faults are not related to the loom specifically, more likely the connectors, earth, senders etc. So you could well spend a fortune and be no further down the line. Post up some of the issues you're having, I expect someone will have some ideas for you!
