Driving up through Crich this morning (site of the brilliant Tramway museum and location for Peak Practice .. yeah I know, I know!) .. and just as I near the top of Bowns Hill, there's a lovely dark blue wedge coming across the road from the Matlock / Tansley end of town. Reg was H14 something I think.

Anyway, big to you, I was in the red beemer so apologies for not waving, you might have thought me a complete plonker!

Also spotted to the lady in the blue chimaera who i often see on Derby Road in chesterfield travelling from Sheffield through to Alfreton somewhere .. roof off .. :big respect:

Big hi to all TVR woners driving topless this morning!!!

That't the one Joolz.

Go past the golf course on the left, another 1/4 mile & then turn right & somewhere down there.

Nearly convinced the missus we could move there. Used the following arguments:

1. Could get to Rugby (work) in just over an hour
2. Wouldn't have (although not guaranteed)any arsewipes for neighbours
3. Nearer to Joospeed!

Nick.

I know where that is! I put my doggie in Kennels near there! Shame you couldn't make the move. Some good pubs about too!

Nice Cerb by the way - bit confused by the colour though, I thought they were all supposed to be blue....?

Don't like Slack Hill, mainly because the only time I ever go up there is when the missus wants to go to DFS....

I know what you mean!

Any hoo, next time you do Slack Hill (it's like a pot noodle, you WILL do it one day) stay on the road and go all the way to the cross roads at the bottom.
Go straight across, and up Starkholmes Road till you come to a nice pub on the left (about a mile) called the White Lion. Great Food and beer, that'll keep her mind off DFS! Plus she gets a loverly view of the Heights of Abraham and the cable cars

Its also about 500 yards from my house so I'll happily join you for a !

3 weeks? I take it you either live a long way from Tansley, or you have a very slow Chim - is that the very rare 1.4BV?

That's why I sold the Cerb for the Chim - the latter is much better for tootling about in!

Now where are my driving gloves & flat cap, tomorrow is Sunday!
