Servicing in the South East

Can anyone recommend a non-franchised garage for servicing? I live in Ashford Kent.

Could try David Batty [The Garage, Compton just outside of Guildford]. Have used him and he is good - sorted out the cooling problems on my Chimaera once and for all after I had spent a shedload at a TVR dealer and got no where!!!

Raven Automotive, Gatwick. Seem good to me, much better than some very well respected main dealers...or not as the case may be.

Echoing the good comments about Dave Batty - Mine has been there twice now and I will never take it anywhere else. 'nuff said.

anjago, I work in Ashford and would also like to know the nearest independant. Like you, I expect, I have used Waldonway who did'nt do a very good job so keen to find a decent garage. I had thought of Lenham Sports Cars at Harrietsham. I know Julian Booty who's speciality is resoration and preparation of sports cars. I can't beleive that with all the TVRs in the area that they all use WA!

I used to live in Hadlow - even though Waldonway was very near, I've always used Fernhurst as they were considerably cheaper than all the other TVR Dealers in the South East. They should be even cheaper now that they have gone independant - only 4,000 miles till the next service so I'll find out then.
