Cost of a good total respray?

Morning,

I'm looking at having my Chim totally resprayed in a slightly different colour. Currently it's Starmist Chianti which IMO looks lovely when the weather is dull but looks a little to burgandy when sunny. I'm after more of a black colour with a bright red sparkle in it rather than the Chianti which seems to be made of dark red with a hint of black.

The long bit over, has anybody used a good bodyshop in the Midlands and if so any ideaa of the costs for such a job?

I cant see you getting much change from 2 - 2.5k but thats a guesstimate.

Hi lee, I used TVR Bromsgrove, who sent it it Landrover at Droitwich, you get a courtesy car aswell, not sure how much they charge for a full spray though. Mines at the back of the shop if you want to pop in & see their work.

Had my ex Chim done at Ewelme Coachworks.....superb job which involved a colour change from Cureton Green to Halcyon Atlantis Blue.

Fantastic job, fully detailed and all for under £3000.

newlun design in towester. IIRC £1750 for full colour respray,not sure if that includes VAT.

It would totally depend on the pain type used too. These flip/chameleon paints cost £££££ per litre!

I would heartily recommend Newlund design. They resprayed my Tuscan in Spectra flake silver which is a c**t of a colour to paint and the finish they achieved is second to none.

obviously but most places will have a fee that they charge for labour plus the cost of the paint
