where else to search for a tvr ?

I like most (i imagine) like to surf the classifieds either looking for a new tvr or checking out what their current tvr is worth, my question is, is there anywhere else to look other than ph,autotrader,tvr dealers or the two classic car websites. ph seems to be the biggest source of tvr's for sale, large community of devoted tvr fans,so what is the percentage of tvr owners who are ph members and is there a hidden source for buying a tvr
other than those listed.
reason behind this thought is that at some time hopefully soon i will start the search for my ultimate tvr and don't want to miss out on any cars out there!
i just can't stand to be without a tvr road car!

Try a post on the forums of the model you're thinking of - along the lines of anyone thinking of selling.

Also a wanted ad in PH Classifieds also worked well for me - after a slow start I got quite a few replies many of which were not advertised.

In the end I bought a car locally that I sourced via the forums, it was never advertised.

i have learnt a lot in my 15 years of tvr ownership,several different tvr's in several different states of development! a lot of money spent, and a lot of excellent experiences, unless i become a lottery winner i will always have a tvr as my first choice! i spent years searching for my ideal make of car changing cars very frequently until i bought my first tvr, driving nirvana!
i hope i find the car i want or i will have to go down the expensive route of building my own from a cat d or similar project.

hi Chris, yeah everything ok now, not a bad outing at the rock, development year for me this year and have made a few more changes so hoping for a bit more speed and reliability at oulton park in october.

As Leven Technology are closing their doors (in current guise) at the end of October Simon has put his Griff up for sale. I don't know anything about the car but given his history I guess it is a good one. The advert is in the current edition of Sprint and he can be reached via the web site.

to be honest probably the 4.5 big valve in the classifieds if it was in a better colour combo!!
thats the short answer, as it would take several hours with my typing skills to pen the spec on my ultimate griff!
