Wiper park switch

I've got a new park switch to fit tonight.
So before I start fiddling about, does it just clip in place?
(Lucas motor BTW)

But you'll probably have to undo the wiper motor from it's bracket and loosen the cable to the wiper arms.

I didn't wanna get into the situation where I start a seemingly easy
job, only for it to turn into a nightmare!

Mine was so corroded the plug that connects onto it needed replacing too. Made a note of which colour went where and used separate connectors.

...it is wise to park the wipers mid screen and kill the power... setting the cam on the gear wheel within the motor out of position so that it does not break the new park switch. Adrian@

The old switch was in a right state, it practically fell apart!
Bit of a faff fitting the new one, but it went on ok
Applied plenty of grease to try and protect the connections
Now with new wiper arms and park switch I have fully
functioning wipers
Just as well, it's Ping down!
